This represents the current views of FSIS and takes effect from the date of publication.

China Seeks Comments on Meat Inspection Rules for 5 Animal Types

China NIFDC Seeks Comments on Naming Guidelines for Botanical & Fermentation Cosmetic Ingredients
On December 11, 2025, the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC), affiliated with the National Medical Products Administration, issued a notice soliciting public comments on two technical guidance drafts: the "Technical Guiding Principles for Naming New Cosmetic Ingredients of Botanical Origin (Draft for Comments)" and the "Technical Guiding Principles for Naming New Cosmetic Ingredients of Fermentation Origin (Draft for Comments)". The comment period is open until December 26, 2025.
